I am a total nerd about self-reflection processes because I truly believe that taking the time to vision, dream, ask yourself big questions, and pause to honor your desires and who you are becoming are some of the best things we can do for our mental health.
However, we can get flooded with the messages around what we ‘should’ be doing to plan for a new year or to be more ‘productive’. We get started with good intentions and then get burned out when it feels too big or overwhelming.
I studied many of these goal setting processes for over 12 years, eventually taking what felt really sustainable for me and creatively adapting as I go along.
Now it’s really something I can’t do without.
In this bonus episode, I share 7 things I’m doing in the new year for my mental health, including slow and sustainable ways of honoring values, desires, and who I am becoming.

Planning Resources
Here are a few planning resources I designed over the years, if you are as nerdy as I am about organizing and strategic visioning:

Your Year Ahead: A 55 Page Workbook
I’m so grateful to you for helping make this podcast and substack sustainable to create! Thank you so much for supporting Depth Work, it truly means the world to me.
As a token of my gratitude I wanted to give you a resource I created that I’ve never shared before. It’s a workbook I designed for myself to guide my annual reflective process. It’s the very best of all I’ve learned over the years to help with gaining clarity and getting organized for a year ahead. Each year I print it out, grab colored pens, and dive in. I hope you love it!
